You don't need any physical printer to do this - ensure the "Print to File" is enabled in Windows. !!Īs another get around - I believe Ms Word (or most of its clones) can convert a pdf doc to WORD, so do that, edit the doc and then print it via Windows to a PDF file - then send back to agency / client. Ask the client / agency - if they have one it's good for your own records as well -Unless you are working in Monaco, Lichtenstein, Cayman Islands etc - eventually you'll have to sort out your Taxes.
There's all sorts of other things out there as well. I've had clients in the past that have used peoplesoft HR stuff for Hours entering and approvals for this stuff.
Of course that option depends how the workplace uses the PDF form - if the hours are manually extracted via HR etc then OK but if the hours are extracted directly by the form then that's another issue - in that case I'm surprised the agency / client didn't supply you with a dedicated "time sheet" application to do this. This is pretty flexible - might be able to do what you want - I've used it on tablets - it also works on Windows. Not comfortable with this personal data being online. There seem to be no decent FREEWARE PDF editors which do not work online. I've got the scanned doc PDF, just need a way to edit it. Basically just need to fill in blank boxes (dates, times etc.) save as a PDF & submit. I have a scanned PDF of a work time sheet I need to fill out every 2 weeks. I'm looking for a freeware (as opposed to "free DOWNLOAD") PDF editor which works OFFLINE.
